Pros

When I started there, I felt that everyone was friendly and outgoing. Management was receptive to day or shift requests. Air conditioning works, so far!

Cons

Poor or no proper training for cashiers. Recent management changes have pretty much left us on our own up front (cashiers). I don't even see much support for the management staff either. They either are working like dogs or hiding in the back office? Low pay. Understaffed. The customers are suffering. The company will NOT allow most of the employees over 29-30 hrs. I guess they don't really want to help people, as they announce all day on their private radio station, to have a meaningful life and qualify for medical insurance. New addition to mgmnt hasn't really made an effort to get to know the staff yet and talks down to most.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
