Pros

I had the best time working at Goodwill. I had an awesome team to work with and we all worked together. The pay was good but the hours seemed long.

Cons

You're on your feet for hours on end, it can either get really busy or be dreadfully slow. You constantly have something to do whether thats cleaning, putting clothes out, helping customers, or doing fitting rooms/cashier. I dealt with all kinds of people, some really cool/nice people and others were just horrible. You see every kind of person there and I've had some scary situations with some constomers, but otherwise you get used to it and it's not so bad. We didn't get a discount for working there which was kind of a bummer, but its understandable since everythings so cheap.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
