Pros
The compensation is amazing. From a competitive hourly wage (with raises based on performance), uncapped commissions (in sales), $750 for HSA (depending on plan), to 401k contributions and team member awards Grainger is a financially lucrative place to work One of the principles is 'Win As 1 Team' which shows up every day! I have been here for 5yrs and don't ever feel like I can't get the help and support I need for my day-to-day work to development for future roles Size! Grainger is all across the WORLD (Acklands Grainger in Canada, Grainger Mexico, Monotaro in Japan) so your career can take you some interesting places. Not only are we everywhere but we work with everyone so you can build strong relationships that last even past your time with Grainger. The cool part is while we are worldwide on the local level, we have a high touch model (Business to End Consumer) to build and maintain relationships on a personal level as if we were a mom and pop.
Cons
Depending on your long-term career goals you may need to relocate or travel quite a bit. For me I can make it work but for some I can see how this could be a con. For me it's less a con and more something to be aware of.
