Thanks for your response, although I was VERY surprised by your comments. I've been with GrammaTech for almost three years ( have a BA in Communications) and have NEVER felt looked down upon. If anything - one of my favorite parts about the company is I can walk into an office (Pre-COVID), pick up a phone and call, or email anyone in the company with ease, even the CEO! Not sure how "former" your employment was but the culture is very different from what is experienced now!

Pros

-The problems the firm is funded to solve are interesting. -The remote nature of the work.

Cons

One of the project managers stated that he didn't want anyone else at the company working on his project because "the $800k is to keep me funded for the next 2 years". The same person also seemed to be actively trying to sabotage the presentation of a promising solution to increase the detection rate of trojans in FPGAs, which was the problem he was funded to improve. This type of behavior is not good in the long term.
