Cons

Terrible management. I quit the job I was at after I received an offer to work at Grand Appliance and then the week before I started, they furloughed my position due to Covid and I was out of work for a month until they finally let me start. Then the person who interviewed me and was supposed to be my manager quit the week after I started. Seemed like a bait and switch. Lots of turnover. I quit as quickly as I could.

Pros

Love being part of this company. - Coworkers are great to work with. - Very family oriented. - Great culture. - Training is always available.

Cons

- Lack of internal communication causes some hiccups. - PTO policy and health insurance aren't very competitive. - Only 6 holidays paid holidays per year. - Not a lot of team building events throughout the year.

Pros

Small-company vibes (thought it just got bought by a large private equity company). Staff members in the various all depts seem to put their best in serving the customer. They understand that you're there to do a good job then go home and respect you in that.

Cons

It's a small / medium retailer with a large emphasis on sales, so the jobs available are mostly sales / warehouse gigs. There's not a lot of lateral or vertical moves in the company unless it's in the same dept. However, the managers I've talked to are supportive of lateral moves, there's just not a lot of positions available at any given time due to the size of the company. For the mos
