I have truly wrestled with what to write in this review, as I do believe there have been good aspects of the role over the past 4 years. However, I think prospective employees deserve a clear understanding of the role that is not included in the job description.
This is a quota-based role. As a UDR, you are responsible for monthly metrics that must be met. It is a strictly sales job, and those coming from a previous higher education background will soon be shocked. To truly thrive in this role, a sales background is needed and the ability to work 50-plus hours a week. If you do not meet your student enrollments, you will be placed on an improvement plan. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting with continuous pressure to be more and do more, this is the role for you.
