Pros

Targhee provides a great working environment with some of the best skiing around. Lots of friendly folks working at this resort. Great employee benefits (deals in town and on mountain) throughout the season. Loved the location of the resort in the middle of Targhee National Forest!

Cons

Downside of Targhee is that employee housing is fairly far away, although there is an employee shuttle for getting folks to work!

Great Place to ski, good community, relatively affordable.

Cons

Below average pay relative to industry standards across multiple departments. Poor communication/effectiveness of HR to provide employees with timely, accurate and supportive measures. The owner/GM is not fit to lead and/or communicate/operate a "world-class resort". In almost 25 years of working in the outdoor/customer service industry, his demeanor is by far the most unprofessional/disrspectful and appalling I've encountered. Whether you are looking to begin a career in this industry or looking to advance, I would highly discourage employment at this resort.
