Pros

Lots of time to ski, ski breaks on powder days, employee discounts on food and retail, pro-deals in ski industry. Paid well considering difficulty of work, higher pay than other departments (lift ops, mountain access). Laid back work environment. 3 day weekends. Coming in on off days not a concern as long as overtime was avoided. Enjoyable coworkers. Good for those who enjoy early starts.

Cons

Plenty of busy work on days without new snow, but generally easy tasks to get done. Aside from snowy periods, work could often feel like it did not contribute much. Direct coworkers not as enthused to ski all that much.

Great Place to ski, good community, relatively affordable.

Cons

Below average pay relative to industry standards across multiple departments. Poor communication/effectiveness of HR to provide employees with timely, accurate and supportive measures. The owner/GM is not fit to lead and/or communicate/operate a "world-class resort". In almost 25 years of working in the outdoor/customer service industry, his demeanor is by far the most unprofessional/disrspectful and appalling I've encountered. Whether you are looking to begin a career in this industry or looking to advance, I would highly discourage employment at this resort.
