Pros

Greenway can be a great place to gain work experience after college or build your resume to move on to something better. You will get lots of experience, resume bullets, and interview discussion topics from how many projects and impossible situations get thrown at you. I worked with some excellent, very qualified colleagues who I greatly miss. The ability for remote work or working from home is hard to beat. You get free food every once in awhile if you are in an office.

Cons

The company is so unstable in that there are constant layoffs (of good resources making a little too much money) and constantly changing SOPs, just to name a couple of things. In fewer than 2 years, I had 3 different managers due to layoffs and restructuring. Additionally, managers have no product knowledge and sometimes limited industry knowledge, so it becomes impossible to balance their nonsensical policies while serving the customers with integrity. There are so many great customers who are providing quality heath care and doing their homework with the EHR, and Greenway fails them on a daily basis. They fail to retain knowledge resources, fail to provide proper product training for resources, and care more about billable hours than integrity. Greenway cannot even pretend to be consistent and stable, but they spin this ineptitude as "adapting to the constantly changing marketplace." In an open question and answer session, the new CEO seemed flippant about the layoffs, turnover, and the concerns about what the go forward EHR product was and what offices would remain open. I sometimes had to travel to extremely dangerous neighborhoods for on site visits and had to travel on weekends without floating holidays or extra PTO. The bottom line is that there is no respect, no organization, and the decent resources that are left are too overworked to make a difference. The pay below industry averages and the high deductible health plan (as many others have mentioned) also show what little respect Greenway has for employees.

Pros

Decent benefits, including unlimited PTO. Many of the individual contributors and lower-level team members are great to work with and genuinely care about doing good work.

Cons

Leadership is a major weakness. There is very limited career growth, compensation appears to be well below national and local market averages for similar technical roles, and bonus or compensation growth has been minimal. Strong work is often praised verbally but not meaningfully reflected in pay, advancement, or opportunity.
