Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

- Aggressively offshoring good paying American jobs to India right now - Forcing the current American employees to train their replacements - All departments are understaffed, causing most employees to be overworked - Every decision is based on saving money, according to the CEOs own All-Hands calls - Currently trying to force employees back into the office even though CDC is predicting a new COVID wave - Super high turnover company wide, meanwhile the HR executive just jokes about it. - Executives are self-involved and seem to not care about horrible employment conditions and dismal company outlook - Salaries are 10-30 percent below national average company wide - Employees are treated like firewood to be burned for increased profits - No respect is given to well educated, experienced employees; managers do whatever they feel like - No information is shared across departments and no major decisions are clearly communicated - Almost no money is spent on providing employees with the hardware or software they need to do their jobs. People are forced to buy their own licenses! - The software development team is not held accountable to collaborate with downstream departments, or to even document their work - People are expected to understand technical software development concepts and terms without any training - Employees are forced to join office party meetings and talk about their personal life with no option to opt-out.

Pros

Decent benefits, including unlimited PTO. Many of the individual contributors and lower-level team members are great to work with and genuinely care about doing good work.

Cons

Leadership is a major weakness. There is very limited career growth, compensation appears to be well below national and local market averages for similar technical roles, and bonus or compensation growth has been minimal. Strong work is often praised verbally but not meaningfully reflected in pay, advancement, or opportunity.
