Pros

No set limit to time off requests.

Cons

- Managers take any opinions given that don't match company talking points as misconduct - Company leadership is trying to create a cult of alternate reality where the company is doing great and everything is ok when the exact opposite is true - All discussions are about increasing profits and reducing costs, no acknowledgement of the nightmare toxic work environment that employees have to deal with - Managers are throwing out new projects weekly, while at the same time current projects and systems are understaffed and plagued with problems - The only people willing to apply for jobs are undesirable in one or more ways, but the salaries being offered are so low that's all we can get - A new performance review system was introduced that requires employees to submit weekly detailed descriptions of what they have accomplished. Meanwhile we all have to attend back to back meetings with no breaks in between and have to work overtime (unpaid) to get our regular work tasks done - People are resigning from key positions every week. Not just one person per week, but one person per department per week. And the company takes no actions to reduce the burden that all creates for the people willing to stay. They just tell us in Talent to hire replacements, but the senior leaders know it will be months, if that, before someone is hired. - Some of the people we end up hiring are so unskilled that we don't given them proper job titles, we just name them after the department. For example, "Talent Specialist". They are also doing this because they need to be able to tell people to work in areas that they are not qualified for when more people resign. - The previous CEO, who everyone liked working with, was always present and spoke directly and openly with employees. He even met with employees on their first day. The new CEO is permanently out to lunch. - In the new CEOs statements (presented by other people), he is always trying to maintain the false image of company success that he presents to clients. "Fake it till you make it" is the new company mission statement.

Our goal is to create an environment where employees feel they can speak openly with their managers, and these discussions may cover workload or other aspects of employment. We do hear from employees who appreciate opportunities for training, education, and professional advancement.

Pros

Decent benefits, including unlimited PTO. Many of the individual contributors and lower-level team members are great to work with and genuinely care about doing good work.

Cons

Leadership is a major weakness. There is very limited career growth, compensation appears to be well below national and local market averages for similar technical roles, and bonus or compensation growth has been minimal. Strong work is often praised verbally but not meaningfully reflected in pay, advancement, or opportunity.
