Pros
This is an amazing organization. I have never worked with such a great group of people who are so committed to doing the right thing and getting better every day. In an industry where true career opportunities are few and far between, Groundworks stands apart. The company often talks about "meritocracy" meaning your growth and income are tied only to your merit, what you contribute. If you work hard to do the right thing, take care of customers and fellow employees, and strive to make things better, your success is almost guaranteed. This company walks the talk. I have never seen so many people promoted from within and it doesn't matter if you have a MBA or a college degree or who you are related to. There are lots of training opportunities and a real focus on continued learning. Groundworks has a vision to evolve an industry and in the process create better outcomes for customers and employees. It is exciting to be a part of this company. You can feel the energy and the "can do" attitude all around you.
Cons
If your just looking for a job where you can do the minimum and collect a paycheck this probably isn't the place for you. The work can be hard and at times long, but for those who want to better themselves, it is awesome.
