From there, employees are kept engaged through an ever shifting carrot of incentives that never quite materialize, sustained by an unpredictable sense of stakes that makes the environment feel perpetually unstable. The result is a culture where people spend more energy competing for survival and proving their worth than doing meaningful work.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This place is run by aspiring LinkedIn influencers who got one shot in their careers and care more about how it’ll read on their resume than about actually leading.
The salary, the office views, and the “unlimited” PTO (you’ll still be working while you’re off, since you’re doing the job of four people from day one) don’t come close to offsetting the toxicity radiating from the top of this perpetually sinking ship.
