Pros

- The people you work with. The individuals you work with are some of the best you will meet. They grow to become the only highlight there. - Garrett is a great guy and I see how the company has gotten this far thanks to him.

Cons

- Management uses the mission, vision, values like a weapon to try and guilt trip you into giving up more hours and weekends or doing way more work than you should. They talk a lot about work/life balance but they don't really believe in it, and expect work to be your life. - They are bleeding employees but don't really seem to care about it and just expect those remaining to do even more work. - It gives off a serious cult vibe if you are doing anything with the entire company, when just with your own department or team it feels significantly less so and is actually enjoyable and fun. - Managements inaction on issues makes them have to move from fire to fire trying to do damage control, and using the previous fires as an excuse to let the current ones get worse. - If you try to speak to your manager, you won't be heard and it will just put a target on your back. - Shady HR and higher management. HR is not your friend at this company. - The pay is terrible in all departments. If you bring this up, you are told to speak to your manager about this which once again just puts a target on your back. - The company only really goes after students out of college simply because it is easy to get them here and they need the experience. If you do accept a role here, the only good way to look at it is to get your year of experience and get out. - The company has a lack of honesty. Management constantly tries to lie and when you talk to them about it they go back on their lies with more lies. It is hard to figure out what management is saying because of how often they lie and contradict themselves. - For developers, it is a very toxic work environment. The overall outlook of your role is higher ups think it takes almost no time to do what you do and you are easily replaceable. In my first company lunch, one of the higher ups said all the game developers do is "make things spin" which is pretty much on par with the way all the other higher ups look at developers. - There is a very negative stereotype about developers that come from management that they tell you is gone, but you can tell it still very much exists. In addition, some of management looks very negatively at the younger generations, calling them entitled and that they all expect free money and handouts and they do nothing. Views like this are going to really hurt the company in trying to build out a solid team as many will hear that opinion and decide to leave a very toxic workplace.
