      Pros

      Amazing company culture. They have mastered the open and collegiate work environment where everyone's opinion is heard. Great people. They hire a lot of ambitious like-minded people who cultivate a fun work environment. Vast opportunity. The company is in growth mode and has doubled head count since 2011. Upper management' is graded on continuous promotion and it shows. Market Leader. Guidewire is a customer-centric company. The internal mantra is to ALWAYS do right by the customer. It reflects in our interactions, products and has lead to the many successes they've achieved over the last several years.

      Old office building. I wish there were more opportunities to work from home.

      NA, can't think of anything positive anymore. It's a micromanaging mess.

      Guidewire makes majors shift every 2 years and the last one to take PgM out of PD into its own department is a micromanaging nightmare. We have more status meetings and spreadsheets to update than time to do any work anymore. 3 places to update if I want to take PTO. 7am and 7pm meetings are now the norm. 6 bosses in 10 years, no one can make up their mind on the direction of the company, projects start and are abandoned constantly.
