Pros

The company Culture is actually very good in comparison to a lot of tech companies. Partly due to the fact the company is still in that sweet spot of not too big, not too small. Decent benefits - LTIP scheme and bonus payouts tend to be quite good and in line with what is promised

Cons

Some managers are not up to scratch and have been kept on while others pick up the slack. This is not uncommon but can be frustrating for those working for and with them. Base salary is probably slightly below market rate. Because it is not a whale like some tech companies it is difficult to find opportunities to progress. Usually do your 3 years and move on.

Pros

NA, can't think of anything positive anymore. It's a micromanaging mess.

Cons

Guidewire makes majors shift every 2 years and the last one to take PgM out of PD into its own department is a micromanaging nightmare. We have more status meetings and spreadsheets to update than time to do any work anymore. 3 places to update if I want to take PTO. 7am and 7pm meetings are now the norm. 6 bosses in 10 years, no one can make up their mind on the direction of the company, projects start and are abandoned constantly.
