Pros

Most people are friendly and open to advice and or gentle criticism. The PMO organization does seem to have it together on where to go with the platform.

Cons

The company used to value customer success, employee satisfaction and other core values. Under the new management the company values profit over everything. People who are or should be considered experts are often not consulted about priorities of work or even thoughts on direction of development when that is their key job. Mid level management has taken a view of do what you are told and do not ask questions. Essentially every division is promoting what amounts to the age old "yes" person instead of someone who might raise credible objections. Again this is especially clear at middle managment especially in development and professional services though sometimes clear that a profit before success is prevalent at higher levels and even stated as such.

Pros

NA, can't think of anything positive anymore. It's a micromanaging mess.

Cons

Guidewire makes majors shift every 2 years and the last one to take PgM out of PD into its own department is a micromanaging nightmare. We have more status meetings and spreadsheets to update than time to do any work anymore. 3 places to update if I want to take PTO. 7am and 7pm meetings are now the norm. 6 bosses in 10 years, no one can make up their mind on the direction of the company, projects start and are abandoned constantly.
