Pros

The company puts real effort into building a strong culture. There’s a focus on helping people learn and grow, and the work-life balance is generally respected. Processes don’t feel stuck—they’re regularly improved, which makes day-to-day work smoother. Leadership genuinely tries to make this a great place to work, and the perks beyond salary are thoughtful and well-rounded. The senior leadership team is sharp and no-nonsense. They keep things clear and focused without unnecessary fluff.

Cons

The experience with middle management can vary a lot depending on where you're based. U.S. managers, in my experience, tend to be more supportive and bring solid leadership skills to the table. Elsewhere—especially in some Indian teams—there’s still room to grow when it comes to empowering teams and showing real leadership, not just managing tasks.

Pros

NA, can't think of anything positive anymore. It's a micromanaging mess.

Cons

Guidewire makes majors shift every 2 years and the last one to take PgM out of PD into its own department is a micromanaging nightmare. We have more status meetings and spreadsheets to update than time to do any work anymore. 3 places to update if I want to take PTO. 7am and 7pm meetings are now the norm. 6 bosses in 10 years, no one can make up their mind on the direction of the company, projects start and are abandoned constantly.
