Pros

HANA Center has nice people who work here who want to do good, good mission, aligned on values, good staff, seems to be open to change, committed to progressive values

Cons

lack of structure as they are still growing and figuring out what they're focusing on, most of upper management is unqualified to lead and passive aggressive, high turnover, hypocritical with how they treat their staff vs how they treat the people they serve

Pros

Overall, it’s a low-stress work environment with opportunities to build relationships with community members and partner organizations. HANA Center has a strong reputation within Chicago’s close-knit nonprofit community. Leadership has also been moving in a positive direction.

Cons

Limited growth opportunities. Minimal flexibility for salary negotiation. Employees often wear multiple hats.
