Nice collaborative work environment and better than some other HCA facilities in other parts of the state. Pleasant staff in my department. Cerner charting is a plus. Reimbursement for higher education.

Parking situation isn’t great. Lots of construction projects going on so certain parts of the hospital are blocked off. Elevators are constantly broken or slow.

The people that do the work really care.

At the end of the day all they really care about are management targets and staffing matrices that border on unattainable. Staff are pushed to handle way too much and put in situations that are prime for an employee or even worse a patient accident. People who are dedicated and very talented employees for many years are discarded for newer less experienced staff to lower coat. Its definitely a 1 way street called HCA Way or the highway.
