Pros

1.) ITIL management/Knowledge 2.) Good exposure with clients and directly working with them 3.) Good clients, really. Decent and good people well for my project <3 4.) You will realize how long can your EQ put up in a stressful environment and you will learn how to properly set up boundaries for yourself. 5.) Your leadership potential will really blossom and will equip you to face any harder challenges. Thanks! 6.) If you are a "YES" person, you will definitely learn how to say "NO" here which will help you in your actual and daily life. 7.) HR, I believe, is developing. 9.) Decent monthly salary, well in my POV.

Cons

1.) Very High Expectations and Targets set but with zero accountability, realistic glide path, and proper training given. Do you even known SMART action planning? 2.) There are managers who are really good and can walk the talk and I'm glad to work with some; there are a lot of managers/leads with shiny titles and eye popping job roles in paper but cannot perform a very simple task that an analyst can outperform in a snap. (e.g. Creating a simple pivot table, Changing the color of a graph in PPT) 3.) Some managers take credit of what you do and throws you under the bus when they are put in the spotlight by clients and when their credibility is at stake. 4.) You can easily spot people who really knows what they are saying cause it's backed up with their actions and you can much easily spot someone who is just making up bed time stories. 5.) You will ask yourself how a person got hired in that particular management position because during the actual work, their skills and capacity isn't fit. 6.) You will see yourself working more than usual and don't get compensated for extra hours. You will definitely be forced to work during holidays unless you are a keen person who wants to get job done because your workload structure really needs more than 8 hours of dedicated time to be finished. 9.) Type of work in the project and the BAU tasks can't be finished realistically within 8 hours and yet managers will tell you and talk to you like a newbie that you are wrong and these tasks can be done only in 8 hours. But nope, hope they try it themselves. 10.) Healthcare benefit doesn't sound beneficial at all. 11.) Training is poor and onboarding is not prioritized. The main priority are results and the expectations are set to people who are not trained well for the job. Then once in production, employee will be blamed for their incompetency. Goodluck in seeing the logic there. Everything is dependent in the stroke of luck. 12.) There are many times that you will feel undervalued and unappreciated. 13.) Overworking looks like a shiny badge for the management. Little did they know that it affects the person's mental health. 14.) Most of the people you'll be working with and you will need to work to get a job done regardless of the department knows only how to command and "give" the specific ask - but they don't know why they are doing it and give important details when you probe further for clarifications. In short, they themselves don't know what they are asking for the in the same place. 15.) You will question your self's sanity. 16.) You will almost give everything to hit the goal but still management will tell you that you are not doing what is required. 17.) Have met some HR employees who are always mad and irritated for unknown reason. 18.) You have to answer email even if you are not yet on shift and it's your rest day. 19.) Have developed some physical sickness over time due to excessive workload. If you are a person who thinks that working here are flowers, friendships, pajama parties, and butterflies, then this place is not for you. Re-think your choices in life and save yourself. I'd say, go to a place where you will be valued.

Pros

It is a job that pays you money

Cons

Where do I even begin.... HCl is a company that will overwork and underpay you and never give you a raise. I was lucky to get a very competitive wage when I started that I felt like I deserved and I fought for that. However even that process they bait and switched 3 times offering higher amounts over the phone and then going back on their word and offering less and less each time until they finally sent me an offer letter. The entire company is inept at communication at any and all levels. You will never get a raise and any time you have any kind of issue or need management/HR to do anything for you results in being ignored. Additionally they will add and add to your roles and responsibilities and ask for the impossible and unreasonable. They get contracts by underbidding other MSP's and then hiring as few people on site as possible and refer the rest of the work to overseas workers that will never do any work and always kick responsibility back to you. If you ever get lucky and they are forced to actually do their job they show that they clearly have no idea what they are doing or talking about. All around a terrible company to work for. If your job role is getting outsourced to HCL, fight for a good salary up front because they will never give you a raise and try to look for another place to work as soon as you can.
