Pros

HCTec has been a business partner of mine for several years. As a hiring director, they provided me with excellent candidates for my open contract positions. As of last year, I moved away from a full-time Director position and into a consulting role. They have helped me find a very good contract opportunity which has exceeded 18 months.

Cons

There aren't really any cons working with, or for HCTec. They have grown by acquisition. With this comes tremendous internal effort to integrate both companies together and at times their consultants may feel a little uneasy.

Opportunity to provide white-glove support to end users while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Cons

Career advancement opportunities could be more clearly defined, with transparent paths for promotion and skill development. Compensation could be more competitive with the current IT market, particularly for experienced analysts. Workload can become heavy during major projects or large-scale deployments, making resource balancing challenging.
