Pros

Great management. Flexible schedule and PTO. Able to work remotely. Great corporate culture and environment. Management works hard to create a fun, hard working environment. Work hard, play hard. Great incentives for meeting quotas. New managed services team hires consultants on a fte basis.

Cons

Hard work, but nothing comes easy. Recruiting isn’t an industry that you’re able to coast. If you’re not interested in the grind, this might not be for you.

Pros

In retrospect, there were none.

Cons

Placed on multiple hospital campaigns with simultaneous training in the beginning, so no specialized training to truly prepare for being a “TEC.” Additional campaigns will be added to you with less than a day worth of training that will include no hands on practice, no on the job training. You will be required to pretend you work for the different hospitals (so be careful not to slip up and say the wrong one! You will not be able to let on that you actually work for HCTec or are located out of state. There will be no career path provided, and advancement will depend upon who you know, not performance. No raises, no bonuses, just a rare T-shirt or coffee cup if you’re lucky. And don’t you dare get up from your desk to go use the restroom if it’s outside of your a break time you better just hold it and deal with it or there will be consequences. It’s hard to believe this place is still in business, but I guess everyone needs a job. Just use it to strengthen your résumé and then get out of there as soon as another opportunity presents itself. Good luck, you’re gonna need it.
