Pros

a growing and solid company with a great future. job security and reconition. the company is very ethical in its business practices. the company is a respected leader in the industry. great benifits and training available for all employees. customer service is superior with a focus of always keeping the customer as top priority. Management is very fair with its employees. Marketing material is always professional and is mailed in a very timely fashion. job performance is rewarded accordingly and all employees are treated fairly. hd supply is a company I can honestly say that i'm very proud to work for

Cons

the operations of the warehouse and some of its employees. at times there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency when it comes to taking care of our customers. too many phone calls and follow up with the warehouse to make sure the customer is taking care of. at time it seems nobody in the warehouse wants to own up to taking that extra step to ensure that the customer is fully satisfied. frustrations at times with credit department and inside sales personell of not performing up to standards. perfunctory at best with a handful of internal personell. could be room for improvement

Pros

There is job security if you can get past the cons.

Cons

They say they care; unless you request a pay raise, a future path, ask the why's to policies, or ask if they would be willing to do a hybrid shift if they are not going to subsidize gas with the prices right now. Jacksonville is very cliquish, If you make their favorite supervisor made, then all of leadership is mad at you. They will find a way to fire you if they so please instead of giving you a chance to make improvements. Health is not important to them. You will pay 1400 dollars a month in insurance for your family, and if you use it, then get ready for those co-pays, They offer tuition program, unless you would like to be reimbursed per their SOP. Do not fear! You will not get a pay raise for education acheivements
