Pros

good remuneration packages, good benefts, excellent product mix, strong marketing support, diverse mix of companies providing access to a wide variety of products and services which should allow HD Supply to stand out as the industry leader in multiple markets.

Cons

-the company is positioned to be the Industry leader but falls far short of its goals because of poor senior management and lack of frontline support and training -Very poor approach to merging new aquisitions resulting in significant loss of business and Human Resource Tallent -poor management, high turnover rate supports this (40%) -management makes promises to help grow business but rarely follow through, -poor training for staff -Human Resources misses the boat on reviewing internal tallent and the necessity of maintaining well trained and qualified staff to promote their superior position as industry leaders -because of the growth through acquisition, senior management doesn't have a good understanding of each of the aquired businesses allowing the competition to take advantage of this and strengthen their market presence

There is job security if you can get past the cons.

They say they care; unless you request a pay raise, a future path, ask the why's to policies, or ask if they would be willing to do a hybrid shift if they are not going to subsidize gas with the prices right now. Jacksonville is very cliquish, If you make their favorite supervisor made, then all of leadership is mad at you. They will find a way to fire you if they so please instead of giving you a chance to make improvements. Health is not important to them. You will pay 1400 dollars a month in insurance for your family, and if you use it, then get ready for those co-pays, They offer tuition program, unless you would like to be reimbursed per their SOP. Do not fear! You will not get a pay raise for education acheivements
