Pros

Yearly Sales Meeting in Vegas or other City sponsored by Vendors Last person standing or friends of managment get upper level and management positions when people leave so talent is not there and learn by fire training system National Accounts is the whole company for give kickbacks to customers so forced to use HD Supply

Cons

So much neoptism that before any positon is posted or promotion they are making backroom moves and deals to get rid of people Once a year have what is called a Reduction in Force, but technically it is a firing of all those that have write up performance discussions, paid too much, bonus windfalls, and people that don't fit system-- Company does not have plans to help people just want foot soldiers that are yes people that accept how things are. For example sales are based on growth of territory but one does not have control over territory for it is all based on new properties or management takeovers, so hero to zero policy in affect every year with no guarantee of pay or bonuses Only people that stay over there is bc it is easy and pay on average is good but year after year is high and low, rewards steady employee and punishes superstars for expected to grow each year by company standards based on last years numbers

Pros

There is job security if you can get past the cons.

Cons

They say they care; unless you request a pay raise, a future path, ask the why's to policies, or ask if they would be willing to do a hybrid shift if they are not going to subsidize gas with the prices right now. Jacksonville is very cliquish, If you make their favorite supervisor made, then all of leadership is mad at you. They will find a way to fire you if they so please instead of giving you a chance to make improvements. Health is not important to them. You will pay 1400 dollars a month in insurance for your family, and if you use it, then get ready for those co-pays, They offer tuition program, unless you would like to be reimbursed per their SOP. Do not fear! You will not get a pay raise for education acheivements
