Pros
You will get out of your comfort zone and be given the opportunity to make an on the ground difference for clients. The work is rewarding and the experience gained is extremely valuable. You can take it anywhere you go in life.
Cons
There is a lack of care for internal full-time employees; you will be treated as if you are replaceable and asked to work anywhere between 70-90 hours per week for the client you're serving. You will serve many different masters such as the client and members of Hagerty management. It is one big game of who you want to disappoint the least. Your productivity means more to the firm than your well-being. At the end of the day, this is a private company looking to make a buck. You are a small cog in the system and are only valued because of the money you bring in for the firm, that is it. There's also extremely high turnover rate with this firm. High turnover is a clear sign of mismanagement of the firm, and it's mistreatment of employees.
