Pros

ability to work remotely as well as travel reiumbursement

Cons

absolutely no training/orientation--almost sink or swim or "fake it 'till you make it" as one tries to understand clients' needs/wants upper management is heavily white/male oriented; very little "diversity" lack of communication from upper management-- unprofessional emails/requests sent after business hours; often long laxed periods followed by deliverables due with a short time notice if you are seeking to be in a place where your utilization will be maximized this is probably not the place for you

Pros

Engaging Projects: Hagerty is renowned for its dynamic and impactful consulting projects. Working here means I'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge initiatives that drive real change in various industries. Whether it's providing innovative solutions to clients or tackling complex business challenges, the projects at Hagerty are both stimulating and meaningful. Supportive Supervisor: A supportive supervisor can greatly influence your work experience. At Hagerty, my supervisor consistently demonstrates a commitment to my professional growth and well-being. Their guidance, mentorship, and open communication create an environment conducive to personal development and career progression. Exceptional HR Director: The HR Director at Hagerty is not only exceptionally kind but also highly intelligent and understands their role well. HRD leadership is characterized by a genuine concern for the workforce's welfare and possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of HR. Recently, we have recognized the importance of the HR Director's role in creating a positive workplace culture. Hence, we are now encouraging our staff to reach out to the HR Director for assistance, particularly in cases where they may be facing challenges with a Resource Manager who exhibits inappropriate behavior. This move ensures that our employees have a safe and respectful work environment.

Cons

Resource Manager's behavior has consistently exhibited unprofessionalism, a lack of empathy, and a condescending attitude. These negative traits have manifested themselves in various ways, causing severe concerns among team members. One significant concern is the emotional distress that the actions of the Resource Manager have inflicted on team members. I have personally witnessed numerous instances where interactions with colleagues have resulted in individuals experiencing emotional turmoil, to the point where some have been driven to tears. This alarming pattern of behavior has cultivated a toxic and unhealthy work environment that is profoundly detrimental to our collective well-being and overall productivity. In the professional world, fostering a supportive and respectful workplace culture is paramount to success. Unfortunately, the conduct of the Resource Manager has eroded the sense of safety and respect that should be inherent within our team. It is crucial to recognize that such an environment not only hampers individual growth but also undermines the overall performance of the entire team. The Resource Manager has been overstepping boundaries by meddling in areas that are outside of their purview. This includes unwarranted involvement in team members' timesheets and even intruding into their personal lives. Such actions not only violate professional boundaries but also infringe upon our individual privacy and autonomy. In any workplace, it is essential to maintain a clear and defined scope of responsibilities. The interference with timesheets and personal matters not only disrupts the workflow but also creates an atmosphere of mistrust and discomfort. It is imperative that everyone within the team has the freedom to manage their work and personal lives independently, without unnecessary interference. The behavior of the Resource Manager has not only been detrimental to our emotional well-being and team cohesion but has also encroached upon our personal and professional boundaries. It is imperative that we address these issues promptly and work towards a workplace where professionalism, respect, and individual autonomy are upheld.

Pros

Good team (not including the manager).

Cons

Horrible management and HR I have never felt so alone and betrayed. I was lied to about being able to switch projects when I joined and then the current project I was on, had the worst management. I was belittled and daily told that the tasks I did were incomplete or wrong. When I reached out to HR, they took the side of the manager.
