Pros
No weekends, unless you can't complete all hours in 4 work days.
Cons
I worked as a Retail Merchandiser for a few months. My territory was very busy. Hallmark is very slick at making you agree in your employment contract that your hours or days can be changed at any time. I agreed, but was very surprised when they increased my days per week on my FIRST day of work! I was hired for low hours but then they pushed 2-3x as many hours my way. If you are scheduled to work 4 days a week but they give you 27 hours, you really don't have much flexibility, especially if you have other responsibilities in life. And those hours are strictly service hours, not including travel time between accounts. Ends up being around 7 hours per day! It was annoying to walk in the store and have the aisles look like a hurricane blew through, and during the Christmas season there would be 30-40 boxes of product, fixtures, and corrugate displays stacked in the back room. Not enough time allotted to do the job right and definitely not the stress-free job I had hoped it would be. I dreaded going to work each day so I quit.
