Pros

Great flexibility, close to home

Cons

I don't mind that it's part-time hours or even working holidays, but it is never enough budgeted hours to do your job properly. I service a VERY busy Walmart in one of the largest city in the US. They want you to get the product out as soon as it arrives, but you can't put the product out while your department looks like a tornado just came thru it. I spend most of my time putting things that were already out back into the correct location. Everyday I walk into my department there's multiple stacks of "go backs" that the Walmart employees have found all over the store. So first I have to put all those cards back into their correct pockets before I can even start on the new product. I'm suppose to service my store 5 days a week. They usually only allow me between 8 and 10 hours per week. Mondays are the worst! I spend roughly 2 hours cleaning up from the weekend and 2 hours putting out as much new product as possible. I'm left with 4 to 6 hours for the rest of the week. I usually get at least 3 shipments of multiple boxes per week. I'm always behind. This easy part-time job should not make you feel so stressed. I work as hard and fast as I can, but just don't have enough time to do my job properly. I'm embarrassed by the way I have to leave my department everyday. It not only reflects bad on the company, but on me as well. Hallmark obviously doesn't care about how they present themselves. I'm currently looking for a new job.

Pros

Great company and great people! Very thorough training program.

Cons

It can be hard work! Some stores don't have deliveries where they're suppose to be and you have to go searching. You have an allotted amount time to spend at each store.

Pros

You really set your own schedule but there is a mandatory break after around 4 hours of working. There's no one over you and you're pretty much doing your own thing which I appreciate. I'm still learning the ins and out as I am new but I love this job, overall. Its very unique.

Cons

This has nothing to do with other hallmark employees, they have all been great. A couple of employees at one of the stores I service aren't the most professional people and their actions have been unnecessary. Fortunately, all of the other stores I service have normal employees.
