Pros

The cost of living in Kansas City is very good. The cultural advantages are better than you would think for a Midwestern town, I promise! There has been, or dare I say, IS, a renewed focus on downtown development and that makes a big difference in how people are feeling about the old Cow Town. Working at one of the largest, and traditionally well thought of companies in town has a nice little cachét to it...everyone knows it's a nice place to work.

Cons

It can be very large and slow to change, just based on the sheer size and age of the company, and the complexity of product development really needs an overhaul. In the past three to five years I have seen some real strides in changing the mentality, a huge shift of smarter thinking, and a significant change in the consumer relevance of the product.

Pros

Great company and great people! Very thorough training program.

Cons

It can be hard work! Some stores don't have deliveries where they're suppose to be and you have to go searching. You have an allotted amount time to spend at each store.

Pros

You really set your own schedule but there is a mandatory break after around 4 hours of working. There's no one over you and you're pretty much doing your own thing which I appreciate. I'm still learning the ins and out as I am new but I love this job, overall. Its very unique.

Cons

This has nothing to do with other hallmark employees, they have all been great. A couple of employees at one of the stores I service aren't the most professional people and their actions have been unnecessary. Fortunately, all of the other stores I service have normal employees.
