Pros
Excellent salary, good benefits, caliber of talent in the building is phenomenal. Most co-workers are very kind, fun people. Great proximity to restaurants and shopping at Crown Center. You will learn a lot and it will be a gem on your resume, but in this day & age a career there is short-lived.
Cons
Not entirely the company's fault that it is slowly withering away; the digital age has largely decimated ink-on-paper communication. However, risk-averse leadership and processes with far too many layers of approval are a time-honored tradition at Hallmark, in addition to a weird clique of middle & upper managers who seems to always avoid accountability for poor retail performance (and remain magically unaffected by round after round of layoffs). If you are over 50 you can be certain that it is only a matter of time before you get handed your severance contract. Talent mix is ignored in favor of younger, hipper designers who look good in YouTube vids & blog posts. Endless silly meetings (and don't forget the cover sheet on your TPS report).
