The US apparel industry is shrinking as retailers create private labels and sometimes order them directly from China. Brands are becoming less important in apparel and price is becoming more important. Marketing dollars are becoming less and less. Marketing Managers spend alot of time figuring out how to cut cost and layoffs are always just around the corner.
