Pros
Hannaford was a job that never asked too much of you. Associates were expected to maintain a reasonable level of productivity, but the work was easy and occasionally enjoyable. Scheduling was easy and department management was always receptive to associate concerns. Time-and-a-half pay on Sundays. Pro-LGBT+ and the company felt welcoming to all.
Cons
Store management was sometimes frustrating. Sometimes coworkers were unreliable, but the majority of them were incredibly friendly and dependable. Wages were decent to poor, but higher than most others in the industry. Work was often very boring.
