Pros
1. They love to develop young talent 2. Opportunities are abundant, even in retail 3. Great corporate social responsibility, very active within their communities and contributes to food shelters and is voted one of the best places to work for LGBTQ+
Cons
1. Revoked hazard pay during COVID-19 pandemic after offering it for only 2 months. Prior to revoking hazard pay we got t shirts that said we were heroes which we were only allowed to wear to work for 4 weeks and a voicemail from Jim Hamilton where he told us how much he appreciates our hard work. The whole thing felt insincere 2. If you make it to management you will find that new programs that corporate tries to roll out are executed poorly. They use a blanket template to implement programs that affect each department differently. Then if you have questions they are usually not answered. 3. This is minor, but sometimes corporate will send a communication to retail and there will be spelling and grammar mistakes within these communications... Just seems unprofessional to me 4. Overall great place to work, I just wish corporate was more engaged with their retail employees, because without us, the business would falter
