Pros

Every Townhall, snacks are provided and more focused on product development

Cons

Leadership within the Digital Operating Center lacks transparency, consistency, and strategic direction. Role definitions and ownership are often unclear, leading to confusion, duplicated work, and accountability issues. Internal influence and informal networks appear to have a stronger impact on decisions than merit or established processes, creating perceptions of favoritism. Collaboration with Hamburg functional teams is inconsistent, resulting in communication gaps and misaligned priorities. Some senior managers demonstrate unprofessional communication by allowing assumptions and speculation to shape discussions instead of relying on factual, transparent communication. Also, maturity of the organization is worse and will be difficult to adapt anyone who comes with varied ideas to implement.

Pros

Great work life balance and benefits program.

Cons

A little too KPI driven. Taken away from family and their motto "We Care"

Pros

Good internship program, talks from different teams ensure that you become familiar with the shipping industry and how the company works. The people there are great. They love working there. Interns have scheduled meetings with senior leadership. Senior leadership is super easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.

Cons

It depends on the team, but some interns did not have a project/assignment ready for them to work on at the start.
