Pros

- Super nice people, fun to work with. You could learn a lot just from each other. - As part of the engineering team, you get a lot of ownership + scope because of the relatively small size of the team plus really ambitious projects and visions. - Management team / tech leadership is caring. Also they did a great job of driving ambitious idea into production time after time. - The product market fit is real, reflected by the expanding customer base and their experience with our products. - Tech stack is solid, and it is getting more mature in the last few months thanks to many recent reliability + infra initiatives and efforts. - The team also maintains a great shipping velocity. And there is a good culture of extreme ownership where people own the features end to end.

Cons

Office getting more crowded with constant expansion + hiring

Pros

The company is solving genuine, interesting problems in the AI space and has clear product market fit. There are some incredibly smart, motivated individuals working here whom you can learn a lot from on a day-to-day basis. The SF office space is modern and visually appealing.

Cons

While the founders are intelligent, they severely lack the leadership maturity and industry experience required to scale an enterprise organization. They suffer heavily from "shiny object syndrome," constantly shifting strategic direction before executing on the current plan. Work-life balance is practically nonexistent. High expectations are placed on everyone, but the leadership structure, communication, and organizational support required to make those workloads sustainable are entirely missing. Working weekends is common. The strike price for equity is set so prohibitively high that the options aren't even worth joining for anymore. You take on early-stage tech volatility without any realistic financial upside. The combination of long hours, chaotic management pivots, and poor benefits leads to a revolving door of staff.
