Pay is less than similar districts in the state

Benefits - HSA plan and district contributes 50% of deductable, Great PTO (24 days a year, plus holidays), 35 hour work week, insuranc includes dental and vision, annual review and raise Diversity - diverse staff and student body (culturally and socioeconomically), inclusive enviroment

Politics - often need to navigate around city politics and union contracts/leaders to get the important work done, board members sometimes vote no on changes or programs that will/can positively impact the staff and students. Budget - We have a new CFO and things have already begin to improve but there was gross miss management of funds in prior school years. Increase the budget for suport staff (paras, substitute teachers, co-teachers, counselors, social workers, career specialist and other front facing school based positions. Cut senior leadership positions and combine reporting roles. Combine some schools in order to combine resources and turn vacant buildings into discounted staff housing.
