This company takes advantage of your love for mental health and spits it right back to your face. It destroyed my mental health. The majority of the employees act and look like zombies because they all realize they are stuck in a toxic environment that quickly discards people they either don’t like or who dares to share their opinions. The amount of people I saw “disappear” without an official announcement, especially after several weeks in the role, was ridiculous. The purpose of the product is great but the top managers and exec are too stuck in la la land to admit that they were 1.) wrong and 2.) took on more than they can handle. The result? Endless product/company mistakes, angry customers/therapists who take it out on the CX/Growth teams, and zombie employees who have to work extreme hours per day to clean up these messes. If you are debating whether to choose Headway or a job offer at another company, please just pick the other company. Because if you pick Headway, you will just regret it instantly or they will discard you like you are nothing because you are not a “culture fit” aka drinking the kool aid of the CEO and how great Headway is. News flash: this place is awful, full of white bros at the top, favoritism, and so much toxic positivity.
