Pros
The mission to build and affordable mental healthcare system that everyone can access is motivating and could be a real source of pride if executed better
Cons
It's pretty unbelievable that the company proposes to be a "mental health company". Spoiler, the company's actual focus is maximizing $$ by billing for mental health services,. Culturally it actually functions as an immature fintech company and toxicity thrives. Unfortunately, the exec team isn't strong enough to see that there's a huge opportunity to align company culture and actions to the core of the mission. This would mean investing in the mission beyond immediate revenue growth. And generally the company's strategic muscles are weak. If you don't care about working in an ethical and enjoyable environment, at least prepare yourself to work overtime to keep up in a disorganized environment where egos reign supreme and everyone is out for themselves. It's truly a madhouse .
