1. If you did not know what gaslighting was before this role, you will learn very quickly.
2. They manipulate the numbers. A team member recently called them out during a meeting and said, "Who are these rockstar PGAs who are hitting these numbers? I don't think I've ever created 70 opps in a month." Leadership did not address this. They would rather give a "quota multiplier" month-over-month (which is nice), but why not just adjust the quota so the team is not CONSTANTLY stressed.
3. There are no fewer than three factors to our quota. Except if you excel in referral generation, it won't actually add to your attainment number. BUT if you fail to hit that number you will have a "conversation" about it.
4. This role encompasses about 50 jobs in one: sales, onboarding, implementation, and now, for some reason, CX (Customer Experience)...
5. You will have so many internal meetings. You have no fewer than two 1:1s per week.
6. PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans) are handed out like confetti falling from the sky. YES, the guidelines for being on a PIP are laid out and hammered into our heads, but it is too easy to get on a PIP because SO MUCH of our quota is out of our control. SO MUCH.
7. They take no feedback from employees unless it is about "more outside team building activities, i.e., drinking."
8. THE CEO once said (in reference to the CARTA CEO's sexual harassment accusation) that there are "two sides to every story" in an ALL HANDS meeting. They are friends...
9. The entire company is all smoke and mirrors. They are just positioning themselves to go public so the YT men at the top can pad their pockets, all while preaching "diversity."
10. Your mental health does not matter at this mental health company, and I know they will come on here and respond "but you get free therapy." The only thing we would be discussing is the toll this role takes on our mental health.
11. We were sold an inbound role... it is not an inbound role.
12. PGMs (Provider Growth Managers) have ZERO clue what the day-to-day is like for a PGA, except the few Team Leads that actually had to work the role.
13, They encourage you "but you are not required to open up your calendar" to work on Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays to hit your quota.
14. Unless you drink the Kool-Aid and kiss the rings of the upper line... you won't last long.
15. "Compensation is competitive".... Where? Competing against my bills??
