Pros
The company has outlasted its competitors over the years, so the job is very stable and the industry is very profitable. The workload is not too heavy and the stress level is about medium compared to other tech companies in Silicon Valley. Overall, if you don't care about your career development and just want to have a stable income, this is a fantastic place to work.
Cons
Very limited opportunity to move up on the career ladder. Depending on which group you're in, you can have a manager who has neither leadership skills or management skills. A bad manager can cause a lot of frustration in work such as turning down your ideas just because it does not fit his/her style. A bad manager gives a lot of non-constructive criticism and at the same time doesn't have any better ideas. A bad manager is emotional and loses his/her temper when arguing or literally jumps on his/her toes with the joy of catching your little mistakes. *Disclaimer: Upper management seems to be reasonable and efficient. But lower management is very poor.
