Pros

Big ideas, cool office, cool cars - very flashy. Good patient care.

Cons

Very little support from leadership as none of the managers have managed a hospice marketing team before. Hospice Advisor is the only person who makes sense when it comes to the business side, but is located in another state and isn't actively involved in the marketing aspect. This is a shame because she understands the needs when it comes to growing out the business. Hospice team are all learning as they go. Nobody has a background in hospice, which would explain why certain functions aren't put in place for growth/marketing yet. Cliquey environment. Feels like everyone is untrusting of "outsiders" (new people they don't personally know). Requirements changed frequently. My personal experience: I was actually yelled at, talked over, and unnecessarily scrutinized on almost a daily basis. That was paired with praise and assurance that I was the right person for the job, making it feel like I was being gaslit. Upon seeking clarity around this tactic, I was told to not ask questions. I was originally told the culture was incredible during my interview, but after just a few weeks, it became extremely toxic as management shifted. Very office-centric, which wasn't disclosed prior to being hired. Constantly in fear of "parting ways" as this came up as a threat in every conversation, without cause or concern by numbers or productivity. Every person in this position prior had been fired for "not being the right fit", or not getting admissions right away (This side of the business is new, and will take anyone time to develop a trusted reputation). CEO seems to take things personally, and acts with impulse. Very scary to work for someone who hasn't thought things through and makes significant changes on the fly. Dramatic and irrational; plays into drama without seeking clarity or resolve. Not open to opinions or strategies outside of what he believes to be right. HIGH HIGH turnover rate - 5 liaisons in one year.

Pros

I’m really grateful to be part of a team where everyone is supportive and easy to work with. My coworkers are not only skilled and professional, but also kind, approachable, and always willing to help whenever needed. It creates a positive atmosphere where collaboration feels natural and stress is manageable. The working environment is very welcoming and motivating, making it easier to stay productive and enjoy each day at work. Overall, it’s a place where you feel valued and encouraged to grow, and that makes a big difference.

Cons

There are times when the workload can be challenging, but it helps build strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Pros

Working as the QA Lead here has been an incredibly rewarding experience, largely because of the collaborative spirit of our team. In Quality Assurance, our goal isn't just to 'check boxes'—it’s to be a true partner to our clinicians. I take great pride in leading a QA team that prioritizes the needs of our field staff. We understand that a clinician's schedule is incredibly hectic, so we make it a point to offer flexible training and meeting times, whether that means connecting early in the morning or towards the end of the work day to fit their windows of availability. It’s inspiring to work with clinicians who are so open to growth and dedicated to perfecting their craft. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role is acting as a troubleshooter. Whether it’s navigating a complex EMR issue or resolving a documentation hurdle, our department is a dedicated resource for the staff. To further support our frontline heroes, my team and I focus on internal auditing that goes beyond just finding errors. While we never touch objective clinical assessments, we proactively help fill in administrative items. This 'team-assist' approach significantly decreases documentation errors and allows our clinicians to focus more on what they do best: patient care. If you’re looking for a company that values clinical integrity while providing a massive safety net of administrative and technical support, this is the place to be!

Cons

For home health there is a lot of charting but that is not unique to this agency.
