Pros
They pay is above market value for most positions, but that's how they're able to trap..I mean keep people. There are some good people peppered into this madness, but there aren't nearly enough to stay. The work/life balance is good - but it starts to matter a lot less when you work with so many evil people and no one wants to be there. These recent reviews that claim HSAG is a "lovely" place to work, must have been submitted by someone in HR or someone has been given an incentive to do so.
Cons
There are so many, but the biggest con in my eyes is that executive leadership has hired and keeps a known sexual harasser - known by all of eadership and everyone else there and a repeat offender. And I don't mean someone who just says off-collar sleazy things, I mean someone who has forced himself on female employees in front of colleagues and has dated multiple of his subordinates. The culture is very isolating and tense. Do not expect people to engage and be friendly with you or even say good morning from time to time. I met some of the rudest, most cruel, and self serving people I have ever encountered in my life there (and I mean in life - not just professionally). I have witnessed straight up lying to a client/state about contactual deliverables that were never done. (And I am fairly junior - image what happens at higher levels...) There are also a lot of inconsistencies with how they bill and move billable time around to "save their budget". This place is one CMS audit away from being in a world of trouble if they uncover a fraction of what I've seen and witnessed.
