Pros

Decent people. Hybrid schedule. Onsite gym/cafeteria.

Cons

As a job seeker, please know going in that you're going to start with 0 PTO, accumulate 8 hrs a month, as well as no insurance/benefits for your first 90 days. It's a tough position to be in if you're a new hire! Other than that, I'm honestly not sure why this company keeps being awarded one of the "Top Workplaces in Nashville" awards. Their internal employee engagement surveys are always very concerning and fall on deaf ears. Leadership is in their ivory towers. Turnover has always been an issue, with the hiring process taking several months. Because of this, you're more than likely going to be asked to do 3-4 different roles for the foreseeable future. Favoritism is a problem, as some colleagues receive promotions regularly, while others won't be promoted for several years. As an analyst, I received no support from leadership when I was challenged, yet I felt micromanaged. I could write a novel about this, but as someone reading this review, I trust that you get the picture.

Pros

Work life balance is good Healthcare benefits is good

Cons

Travel is a difficult area to work in. It's very cliquey. They "want you to be promoted to recruiter" but heavily misrepresent the position, requirements, and pay. They like to say that you will make 6-figures within your first year, but you will not. Not unless you eat, sleep, and breathe HealthTrust. Keep in mind that while you may do okay, what you make is dependent on who you sign and HCA Healthcare has a terrible reputation in the medical world when it comes to employee treatment and environment. If you LIKE sales and do well in sales, this actually might be for you. You're pitching dreams, not promises, to get a bite on a line and try to get commissions. It's going to be draining. It's going to be tough. It's going to be competitive. There are other travel agencies who treat employees better. If you're interviewing and they promised you greatness, prepare yourself not to get it.
