Pros

They are owned by the parent Hospital Corporation of America company and have corresponding benefits, which is something they do not appreciate as one can read below. HR is also surprisingly good. They will not allow leadership to play political games when they are clearly wrong.

Cons

Engineering reports to the CPO (Chief Product Officer) which creates conflicts of interest and problems executing on key projects. A blame culture is promoted with favorites in the Product and Engineering orgs and if those favorites are crossed, leadership will try to push the people out and ruin the reputations of people who have had the misfortune of interacting with those folks. Leadership also talks very negatively about the parent company on public meetings, which is surprising. This is not a good place to work.

Pros

Work life balance is good Healthcare benefits is good

Cons

Travel is a difficult area to work in. It's very cliquey. They "want you to be promoted to recruiter" but heavily misrepresent the position, requirements, and pay. They like to say that you will make 6-figures within your first year, but you will not. Not unless you eat, sleep, and breathe HealthTrust. Keep in mind that while you may do okay, what you make is dependent on who you sign and HCA Healthcare has a terrible reputation in the medical world when it comes to employee treatment and environment. If you LIKE sales and do well in sales, this actually might be for you. You're pitching dreams, not promises, to get a bite on a line and try to get commissions. It's going to be draining. It's going to be tough. It's going to be competitive. There are other travel agencies who treat employees better. If you're interviewing and they promised you greatness, prepare yourself not to get it.
