Pros

Great people to work with…probably because you’re all going through the same torture together.

Cons

This company handled COVID-19 so poorly. This is a HEALTHCARE company. They should be setting an example for other companies. Instead we have been in the office since September 2020 despite the constant increasing COVID-19 numbers. Ed stated they were evaluating positions to be hybrid remote, one day a week is NOT a hybrid schedule. Since coming back full time with 100% capacity with our one remote day, COVID-19 numbers have skyrocketed with the dangerous delta variant. When the CDC suggested even vaccinated people should wear masks indoors to help prevent the spread, the response from the company was “we are a private building. The masking guidelines of the CDC does not apply since a majority of us are vaccinated.” This creates a constant looming anxiety for employees. We do not know what others do in their spare time, individuals who are vaccinated are typically asymptomatic when they contract COVID-19, but they can still spread it to others. With testing numbers down and COVID numbers up we should not be risking our lives so that we can “network and collaborate” via web chat inside of the building just because you’re paying for it.

Pros

Work life balance is good Healthcare benefits is good

Cons

Travel is a difficult area to work in. It's very cliquey. They "want you to be promoted to recruiter" but heavily misrepresent the position, requirements, and pay. They like to say that you will make 6-figures within your first year, but you will not. Not unless you eat, sleep, and breathe HealthTrust. Keep in mind that while you may do okay, what you make is dependent on who you sign and HCA Healthcare has a terrible reputation in the medical world when it comes to employee treatment and environment. If you LIKE sales and do well in sales, this actually might be for you. You're pitching dreams, not promises, to get a bite on a line and try to get commissions. It's going to be draining. It's going to be tough. It's going to be competitive. There are other travel agencies who treat employees better. If you're interviewing and they promised you greatness, prepare yourself not to get it.
