When compared with other jobs in food service, working for Health Trust offers flexible schedules and better work-life balance. There are great people who work here who deeply believe that their work is benefitting the lives of other.
Cons
The profession is not really respected. Food service exists in healthcare only because it has to; since the food is doing nothing to drive the bottom line it is often pushed to the margins in terms of investment and administrative priority. That is, until someone is hungry.
