Pros
The insurance and benefits are good, facilities are nice
Cons
I have been here for 4 years and made less money each year even after being "promoted." The pay plans are designed to punish instead of reward, no one in the dealership is happy, negativity is rampant and the bosses upstairs are getting all of the money. They tried to introduce a new pay plan in the last year that would pay "more money" and be easier and the whole sales floor rejected it because they all made less. They tout that we are one of the top dealerships in the country, yet we get paid like we are 80th. At events around the country,we hear other salesmen make way more than we do with a lot less stress. The job used to be fun but now no one is having fun. Every day there are more rules, more pay restrictions, and more pressure from upper management. They act like they can't understand why sales are down, morale is down, finance is wanting to quit... pay us more, appreciate us more, make it more fun and then you'll get the results you want. Right now if you get one bad survey, your month is over, bonuses gone. The pay plan is even set up so that it occasionally makes sense to NOT sell a car at month end. The whole sales floor and finance are constantly looking for ways to get out.
