Pros

Great teammates . Good hours for auto sales. Nice facility.

Cons

GM has no skills and unable to build a team. Not truthful about earning potential. Many employees have left because of GM. Many promises made and not kept. Gm berates managers in front of staff. Store in under performing because of his lack of leadership. His flaws make it hard to enjoy work and make money. I went to a competitor and a whole new ball game. So I would think twice before going to work for this GM. In 1.5 yrs 12 sales staff have quit .

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
